On Flutterwave today, you can initiate transfers from your:

• USDC/USDT balances to fiat balances on Flutterwave

• Fiat balances to USDC/USDT balances

• USDC and USDT balances to external stablecoin wallet addresses

Transferring from a stablecoin (USDC/USDT) balance to a fiat balance

To transfer from your USDC or USDT balance to a fiat balance (NGN or USD) on your Flutterwave account, follow these steps: 

• Navigate to “Payments” on your Flutterwave dashboard, and go to “Transfers.”

• Click “Transfer between Currency Balances.”

• Select a balance to transfer (e.g., USDC) from and the balance to be credited (e.g., NGN).

• Enter the amount. The transfer fee will be displayed to you.

• Enter your transfer PIN to authorise the transfer.

What balance can I transfer to on Flutterwave? 

You can make transfers to the following balances on Flutterwave:

• USD - USDT/USDC

• NGN - USDT/USDC

• USDT/USDC - NGN

• USDT/USDC - USD

Transferring from a stablecoin (UDC/USDT) balance to an external stablecoin wallet address

Transferring to a stablecoin wallet on your Flutterwave dashboard is easy. To initiate a transfer: 

• Navigate to “Payments” on your Flutterwave dashboard, and go to “Transfers.”

• Click “Transfer to Stablecoin wallet”. 

• Select a balance to transfer from – USDT or USDC.

• 

• Enter the amount. The transfer fees will be displayed to you.

• Select the wallet network, e.g., Polygon.

• On your stablecoin platform, select a coin, either USDT or USDC, and choose the applicable network, e.g., Polygon. 

• Copy the wallet address displayed to you and paste it in the wallet address field on your Flutterwave dashboard.

• Enter the beneficiary name.

• Enter your transfer PIN to authorise the transfer.

PS: Please ensure to double-check the coin (USDT or USDC), wallet network, and recipient’s wallet address before initiating your transfer. Transfers done using the wrong coin, network, or wallet address cannot be recovered.

How long does it take for the transfer to be processed?

Transfers to your USDC or USDT balances are processed within minutes. 

I made a transfer, but it hasn’t reflected. What should I do?

I made a transfer to the wrong stablecoin address

Unfortunately, wallet fundings done using the wrong coin, wallet network, or wallet address cannot be reversed.

Is there a minimum amount for transfers?

Yes, stablecoin transfers are pegged at a minimum of 10 USDT/USDC. Visit this link for information on the maximum transfer limit. 

Am I able to transfer from my USDT wallet to a USDC wallet?

No, USDT transfers can only be done to USDT wallets and vice versa.

Can I transfer from my NGN balance to my USDT or USDC balance?

Yes, you can transfer funds from your NGN balance to your USDT or USDC balance. 

Can I initiate a transfer between my USDC and USDT balances? 

No, you cannot transfer between USDC and USDT balances.
