It offers a seamless and affordable solution for receiving payments, transferring funds, and performing other transactions, ensuring convenience for businesses and their customers. 

How To Enable Mobile Money Payments On Your Dashboard

To receive mobile money payments from your customers on Flutterwave, you need to enable the mobile money payment method on your dashboard. You can enable this method by following these steps:

  1. Login to your dashboard and navigate to Settings

  2. Go to Business Preferences

  3. Click on Payment Methods and click “Enable”.

Availability

Mobile Money as a payment method is available only when your currency is set to the following countries:

  • XOF - Burkina Faso

  • XOF - Côte d'Ivoire

  • XOF - Senegal

  • XAF - Cameroon (Central African Republic, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon)

  • GHS - Ghana

  • KES - Kenya

  • RWF - Rwanda

  • TZS - Tanzania

  • UGX - Uganda

  • ZMW - Zambia

Steps to Complete a Mobile Money Payment

  1. When you want to make a Mobile Money payment, click on the 'Mobile Money' option in the payment modal.

  2. Select your network provider, input your phone number, and follow the prompts to complete the transaction.

  • Burkina Faso: Orange Money, Mobicash

  • Cameroon (Central African Republic, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon): MTN, Orange

  • Ghana: MTN, Vodafone, Airtel

  • Côte d'Ivoire: MTN, Orange, Moov, Wave

  • Kenya: Mpesa, Airtel

  • Rwanda: Airtel, MTN

  • Senegal: Orange, Free Money, E-Money, Wave

  • Tanzania: Airtel, Tigo, Halopesa, Vodafone

  • Uganda: Airtel, MTN

  • Zambia: Airtel, MTN, Zamtel
