Flutterwave supports local and international card payments from debit & credit cards issued by Visa, MasterCard, Verve, Discover, and American Express (AMEX).  

Flutterwave is supported in Nigeria, Cameroon, Cote D’Voire, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, The United Kingdom, America, and Europe. In addition to the local cards of these countries/regions, Flutterwave also allows you to receive payments from all MasterCard, Verve, Visa, Discover and American Express cards.

How to enable card payments on your dashboard

For your customers to be able to make payments to you using their debit or credit cards, you need to have completed your verification and enabled card payments on your dashboard. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Login to your dashboard and navigate to Settings

2. Go to Business Preferences

3. Click on Payment Method and click “Enable”.

Once this is done, your customers will see the Card payment option on the checkout page and will be able to make payments to you using their cards. 

Please note that your account must be enabled for international card payments for you to be able to receive payments from your international customers.
