Understanding Webhooks and How To Configure Them

What is a Webhook?

Webhooks are event-triggered messages that communicate changes in payment status. Flutterwave sends you a webhook for transactions that are not processed in real-time like Bank transfers.

Setting up your webhooks

Follow these steps to configure webhooks on your Flutterwave account:

  1. Log into your Flutterwave dashboard and navigate to the Settings page.

  2. Select Webhooks from the developer section of the settings menu.

  3. Add your webhook URL and secret hash

  4. Choose your preferred webhook options.

  5. Finally, click on the Save button to save your changes.
