Flutterwave offers different account types to cater to the specific needs of your business.

Starter Account

This is suitable for businesses that have not obtained a company registration number or have not started business registration. With this account, you can receive payments and access our services while awaiting formal registration.

Registered Business Account

If your business has a registration number from the appropriate authorities like the Corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria, you can now search for your business name using our CAC lookup service and we populate your business details as updated on CAC. Your onboarding journey is tailored either as a Sole Proprietor or a Limited Liability company (LLC) depending on your CAC registration business details. 

Other Entity Account

If your organisation falls under a different category, such as an NGO, Trusts, or an Association, you can select the Other Entity Account during your registration. Similar to the Registered business accounts, we are able to populate your Nigerian entity’s details as provided on Corporate Affairs Commission’s portal using a look up service that enables you to search for your organization’s name using a search bar.
