Updating your account information

Flutterwave allows you to update your account information on your dashboard. This gives you the flexibility to make changes to your business details when necessary.
What can I update on my dashboard?
You can update your chargeback and support email, support phone number, business logo, account email address, and account phone number.
How do I update my support email address or phone number?
Adding a support email address and phone number to your dashboard enables your customers to easily contact you when they need your assistance. To update your support information, log in to your dashboard and follow these steps:
Go to “Settings”
Click on “Business Preference”
Click on “Edit information” below your support email address or support phone number to edit.
Enter your new support email or phone number
Click “Save and continue” to complete the action.
Once this is done, your support email or phone number will be updated.
How do I update my business logo?
Your business logo helps your customers easily identify your business. To add your business logo:
Log in to your Flutterwave dashboard and go to Settings
Click on “Business Preference”
Click the “Upload logo” button
Enter your new logo in JPEG, JPG, PNG, or WEBP format.
Click “Save and continue” to complete the action.
Once this is done, your business logo will be updated.
How do I update my account email address or phone number?
You can update your account email address or phone number directly on your dashboard by enabling OTP delivery via your preferred authenticator app. To setup OTP delivery via an authenticator app:
Navigate to “Settings”
Click on “Security”
Enable OTP via “an authenticator app”
Follow the steps to complete the setup. Check out this video for a step-by-step guide on how to enable 2FA via an authenticator app.
Once you have setup OTP delivery via an authenticator app, you can follow these steps to update your account email address or phone number:
Log in to your dashboard
Go to Settings and click on Profile
Click the “Edit information” button below your account email or phone number.
Enter your new email address.
For phone number change, enter the new phone number.
An OTP will be sent to your phone number via SMS or WhatsApp to verify the new phone number.
Once the number is verified, enter the OTP generated in your authenticator app.
Click ‘continue” to confirm the action.
Once this is done, your account email address or phone number will be updated.
How do I update my chargeback email address?
Your chargeback email address enables you to receive email notifications about chargebacks logged against your business. Please ensure that your chargeback email address is valid. To setup OTP delivery via an authenticator app:
Navigate to “Settings”
Click on “Security”
Enable OTP via “an authenticator app”
