Receiving payments
Updated 30 months ago
With your Flutterwave account, customers can pay for your product or service from anywhere in the world via card, bank accounts, QR codes, USSD, Mobile Money, and Mpesa. As a merchant, you can set up different methods to receive these payments on Flutterwave, including:
Payment links
From your Flutterwave dashboard, you can create custom links that you can send to customers or embed in your website for customers to pay you. A payment link directs your customers to a custom page created by Flutterwave. See example of a payment page below.
When your customer clicks the Pay button, a payment gateway appears for the customer to pay using one of the payment channels available.
Do you think this works for you? Learn how to create payment links. You can also use payment links to receive recurring payments.
Donation page
The Donation Page does a similar job as the payment link, only that it is made specifically for accepting donations.
One of the many advantages of the Donation Page feature is that the merchant can determine whether or not they want to make a one-time donation or a monthly donation.
See sample donation page below.
Flutterwave plugins and SDKs

The Flutterwave API
The Flutterwave API is a set of protocols by which your website/app solution can communicate with Flutterwave and make use of the features of Flutterwave directly without having to use the Flutterwave dashboard. You can explore all the features of the Flutterwave API in our documentation here.
