One of the many perks of integrating Flutterwave into your website or eCommerce store is its ability to help you receive payments from your customers from any part of the world and with several payment methods such as Cards, Apple Pay, Bank Account, Google Pay, USSD, Bank Transfer, QR codes, Mobile Money, Kenyan Mpesa etc.

Flutterwave is supported in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, the United Kingdom, America, and Europe. In addition to the local cards of these countries/regions, Flutterwave also allows you to receive payments from all Mastercard and Visa Cards.

Here is a list of the payment channels supported by Flutterwave:

Enabling a Payment Method

For a payment to be enabled at checkout for customers to pay you, a merchant must have either a verifiable website URL or social media page.

The website URL should state the following:

  • Terms and conditions: This shows the legal contract between you and your customers for the supply of goods or services, which regulates your business relationship.

  • Return, Refund, and Cancellation Policy: A document/page that outlines the rules for returning purchased goods or services. These policies should include the refund requirements, time frame, and customer support contact information. If the business does not support refunds/returns, this should be clearly stated.

  • Privacy Policy: This will detail the level of privacy protection an individual has while connected to the internet.

  • Description of goods and services offered for sale and price information.

  • Contact Information for the seller.

  • The method and timeline for delivering these goods or services.

  • A valid support phone number and email address.

  • Order fulfilment status, i.e. "Out for delivery", "in progress", "completed", etc.

  • Delivery information, i.e, a tracking number if available or the phone number of the dispatch rider/company.

The Social media page should state the following:

  • Reviews from other customers

  • Contact information

  • Description of goods and services offered for sale

  • The method and timeline for delivering these goods or services.

  • Delivery information, i.e, a tracking number if available or the phone number of the dispatch rider/company.
