“Africa is not a country, but we make it feel like one” was the theme of the night at the recent Raved Up; San Francisco mixer on Thursday March 21st. Omosalewa Adeyemi Flutterwave’s Head of Global Partnerships & Expansion led the discussion about the payment infrastructure challenges on the African continent and how Flutterwave is striving to enable digital payments for African businesses through our Rave product.
The meetup featured members of the San Francisco Bay Area business community along side companies from the recent Y Combinator graduate class. The president of the Silicon Valley Black Chamber of Commerce Carl Davis & the San Francisco African American Chamber of Commerce Matt Thomas alongside the founders of Verto FX, Schoolable & Wallet were some of the guests in attendance.
Omosalewa Adeyemi talked about the Flutterwave mission and our expansion into Europe and the U.S. The professionals we hosted got the chance to learn about our Rave product and our plan to enable businesses in the U.S and abroad grow communities to increase sales, viral content, opportunities in digital payments, storytelling for their brands and more.
At Flutterwave Inc, our mission is to enable digital transactions across the globe through a seamless and secure infrastructure. To see you go from local to global.
In the end, it’s all about making an impact in our communities and growing our economy. It’s about seeing everyday people gain access to opportunities that change their lives and brings progress.
We’re grateful to have been welcomed into the San Francisco business community. We look forward to partnering with business leaders in the Bay Area.
