How to enter: To qualify for an entry into the prize draw, eligible entrants must complete a transfer of  £100 or more through Send App, with the transaction originating in Great Britain and destination for Nigeria, during the Entry Period (excluding Send App transaction fees) while using the promotional code GBPXMAS. The discount is applied automatically when the appropriate promotion code is entered at checkout. This discount is available only to the first 5,000 users who use the promotion code. Each entrant is only granted one entry into the prize draw. The first transaction of  £100 or more that you make will grant the entrant one entry into the prize draw during the promotional period.   1. How to opt out of the Promotion: Entry into the Promotion is automatic.   1. Prize: There is one (1) prize to be won in this Promotion, of two (2) return economy class flights between [Gatwick Airport (LGW)] and [Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS)] (the “Prize”). The following terms and conditions apply to the Prize:
  1. The outbound flight must be taken from [Gatwick Airport (LGW) to [Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS)]. The return flight must be taken in the opposite direction. 
  1. Both flights must be booked at least 10 (ten) days in advance of the intended departure date and are subject to seat availability. (See “Flight Bookings” section below.)
  1. The flights must be taken between 31st December 2024, and 28th February 2025
  1. The Prize includes mandatory flight taxes but excludes all other costs and expenses incurred by the winner that are not expressly set out above, including (i) transfers and other transportation; (ii) baggage charges; (iii) in-flight food and beverages; (iv) overnight accommodation; (v) travel and medical insurance, visas and any other required travel documents; (vi) any required COVID-19 or other testing; (vii) any additional discretionary spending; (viii) tips and gratuities; and (ix) any related taxes.
  1. The winner is solely responsible for ensuring that they are able to travel at the appointed times on the relevant dates, including for having a valid passport and any required visa or other travel documents. No alternative times and dates are available. 
  1. The winner is not entitled to receive any unused portion or element of the Prize. If the return flight is not completed by 31 January 2025, the winner will forfeit any unused flight.
  1. The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is available. However, if Promoter considers it appropriate, or if it becomes necessary for reasons beyond Promoter’s control (e.g. where the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, including as a result of COVID-19 or other health-related restrictions), the Prize may be varied or swapped for a suitable alternative in Promoter’s discretion.

Promoter is not responsible for any COVID-19 or other health-related travel testing or restrictions applicable to the winner, including, but not limited to any quarantine or isolation-related costs or conditions. The winner is solely responsible for ensuring that they adhere to all applicable COVID-19 or other health-related laws, rules, procedures and protocols relating to the Prize.
  1. The Prize is subject to all applicable terms and conditions of the airline and relevant airports. The winner must comply fully with such terms and conditions and all laws and regulations applicable to the Prize. Promoter will have no liability to the winner if the winner is unable to receive the full benefit of the Prize or is denied entry to, or asked to leave, the airport or aircraft as a result of a failure to abide by the ticket terms, any applicable law or as a result of inappropriate behaviour.
  1. Winner selection: All eligible entrants will be entered into a random prize draw to select the winners on or around [16th – 17th of December 2024]. There will be one (1) winner in this Promotion. The winner will be the entrant whose name is drawn at random from all eligible entries.
  1. Winner notification: The winner will be notified by phone call, email and/or direct message using the contact details collected at the time of entry between December 18th 2024 and December 22nd 2024. Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner, but it is the winner’s responsibility to monitor their email address (including spam folder) and voicemail for receipt of the notification. 
  1. Claiming the Prize: The winner must claim their Prize within 10 (Ten) days of Promoter’s win notification by providing the information requested in the win notification. If a winner fails to claim the Prize or fails to provide any information required by Promoter by the claim deadline, Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the winner and select an alternative winner. The alternative winner will be selected using the same process as the original selection process and must claim the Prize within 10 (Ten) days of Promoter’s win notification.
  1. Flight bookings: After Prize claim, the winner must provide their travel dates (between 31st December 2024 – 28th February 2025) and required personal details to Flutterwave. We will book the flights through our travel partner and send electronic tickets to the winner’s email. The winner is responsible for visa arrangements and travel requirements. Any booking changes after ticket issuance will be the winner’s responsibility.
  1. Liability: Nothing in these Rules limits or excludes Promoter’s/any person’s  liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or for any matter for which liability cannot be lawfully limited or excluded. Subject to this, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
  1. However, to the fullest extent permissible by law, Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage any entrant suffers as a result of their participation in the Promotion and receipt or use of the Prize in circumstances where: (i) there has been no breach of a legal duty of care owed to the entrant by Promoter; (ii) the loss or damage was not caused by a breach of these Rules by Promoter or its agents or representatives; (iii) it was not obvious that the entrant would suffer such loss or damage and nothing the entrant said to Promoter before they entered this Promotion meant that Promoter should have expected it to happen (so, in the law, the loss was “unforeseeable”); (iv) the entrant could have avoided such loss or damage by taking reasonable action; (v) the loss or damage was caused by an event or circumstance beyond Promoter’s reasonable control; or (vi) the loss or damage was caused by the unavailability of Promoter’s websites, apps or social media accounts. 
  1. Promoter will not be liable for death or personal injury (except to the extent caused by Promoter’s negligence) or for any other loss or damage suffered by the winner in connection with the winner using the flights forming part of the Prize, including in relation to the occurrence of any air accident or other incident, food poisoning, flight delays or lost or delayed luggage.
  1. In addition, this Promotion is only open to consumers (not businesses), and therefore Promoter is not responsible or liable for any business losses any entrant may suffer, such as loss of profits or revenue, loss of anticipated savings or loss of goodwill.
