Flutterwave Send App Promotion Rules
These are the terms and conditions (“Rules”) that apply to the Flutterwave Send App promotion (“Promotion”). By entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees to these Rules and confirms they have read and understood our Privacy Notice at [https://send.flutterwave.com/legal/privacy].
Use of Send App is subject to the Send App terms and conditions of use, available at [https://send.flutterwave.com/legal/terms]. Transaction fees apply to Send App money transfers and are payable by the sender. Send App transaction fees do not count towards the transaction value required for entry into the Promotion.

Entry period: The Promotion opens on December 3rd and closes on December 18th, 2024 (“Campaign Period“).
Eligibility: Entry is open to existing Send App users who are legal residents of the United Kingdom and at least 18 years old. Employees of Send App, its affiliates, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
How to Participate:
To qualify for the Promotion, eligible entrants must:
- Existing users must refer five (5) new users through their unique referral link on Send App during the Promo Period
- Users who successfully refer 5 new users will receive event tickets.
- Both referrer and new users receive £20 when they complete their qualifying transfer.
Referral Requirements:
- The transfer amount must be at least £100 or more for GBP transactions
- The reward is applied automatically when the new user completes their qualifying transfer
- Self-referrals are not permitted
- Cancelled transfers invalidate the referral until a qualifying transfer is completed
- Each new user can only be counted as a referral once
Prize Details:
There are multiple prizes available in this Promotion:
Referral Reward:
£20 reward for each successful referral.
The new user also receives £20.
Reward is automatically applied upon completion of qualifying transfer.
Event Tickets:
Two (2) tickets to Nigerian events during December 2024.
Available to the first 25 users who achieve 5 successful referrals.
Tickets may be used by the winner or transferred to their loved ones in Nigeria.
Non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation.
Event tickets subject to availability and venue terms and conditions.
Winner Selection and Notification:
- Winners of the events tickets are determined automatically upon successful referral of 5 new users.
- Limited to first 25 users who achieve this milestone.
- Winners will be notified via email and/or phone within 48 hours of qualifying.
- Winners must confirm their ticket preferences within 2 days of notification.
- If a winner fails to respond within the specified timeframe, Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
- The reward is applied automatically when the new user completes their qualifying transfer.
- Self-referrals are not permitted.
- Cancelled transfers invalidate the referral until a qualifying transfer is completed.
- Each new user can only be counted as a referral once.
Prize Claiming:
- Winners must provide necessary information for ticket allocation within specified timeframe
- Winners must comply with any venue-specific requirements or restrictions
- Promoter is not responsible for any additional costs associated with attending events
- Winners are responsible for their own transportation to and from events determined automatically upon successful referral of 5 new users.
- Limited to first 25 users who achieve this milestone.
- Winners will be notified via email and/or phone within 48 hours of qualifying.
- Winners must confirm their ticket preferences within 2 days of notification.
- If a winner fails to respond within the specified timeframe, Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
Cancellation and Variation:
Promoter reserves the right to vary, suspend or cancel the Promotion and/or these Rules if it considers it necessary or appropriate to do so, including if there is any actual or anticipated breach of applicable law or if variation, suspension or cancellation is necessary due to an event outside Promoter’s reasonable control
Disqualification:
Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:
- Violates these Rules
- Provides false or misleading information
- Engages in fraudulent or dishonest behaviour
- Manipulates or attempts to manipulate the referral system
- Acts in a manner contrary to the spirit of the Promotion
Publicity:
By entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees that, in the event of a win, Promoter may use their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
Disclosure of winner’s detail:
By entering the Promotion, each entrant acknowledges that in the event of a win their surname and county of residence may be disclosed to persons enquiring, where permitted by law. Any entrant may object to their information being made available in this way or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting Promoter using the contact details at the end of these Rules. In these circumstances, the entrant acknowledges that the Promoter may nevertheless disclose the relevant information, and the entrant’s entry, to the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (and/or any other competent authority) if required to do so. By way of example, this may happen where Promoter is required to demonstrate that it has awarded the advertised prize. To request disclosure of winner details, enquirers must submit a request to [hi@flutterwavego.com] within one (1) month following the end of the Entry Period. Details will only be disclosed (if permitted by law) after the Prize has been awarded.
Personal data:
Entrants acknowledge that any personal data processed in connection with the Promotion will be processed in accordance with Promoter’s Privacy Notice, which is available at [https://send.flutterwave.com/legal/privacy]. The names of the winner and their guest will also be provided to the relevant airline to enable them to issue tickets. Accessing these Rules
Any website on which these Rules are posted is only intended to be accessed from Great Britain and where permitted by law. Promoter makes no representation that materials relating to the Promotion are appropriate or available for use at other locations. Access to them from territories where their contents are illegal is strictly prohibited.
Severance and waiver
If any part of these Rules is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the rest of these Rules will not be affected. Promoter’s failure to enforce any term of these Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Disputes:
Subject to the “Law and Jurisdiction” section below, if there is a dispute about the Promotion or these Rules, Promoter’s decisions are final. If there is a conflict between these Rules and any other document referred to in these Rules, these Rules take precedence to the extent necessary to resolve the conflict.
Law and jurisdiction:
The Promotion and these Rules are governed by English law, and any disputes arising in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that residents of Scotland may also bring proceedings in their local courts.
